Best big brother

Little man is all about his role as big brother. He helps me with short stack, entertaining him, consoling him, laughing with him. If short stack cries, little man comes to pat his back and tell him "it's ok baby, it's ok"

This morning I had to go inside from the porch to grab his jacket and told him to take little brother's hand so he didn't fall on the wet porch. He walked patiently all around the porch until they got to the grill and short stack had something to hold onto.

What tremendous blessings these sweet boys are.

Nursing

Lord,
I have realized tonight that my milk supply has taken a serious blow, I can only imagine as a result of being sick this last week. Lord it is not my desire to be finished nursing my little one- the bond we share and the special time we have nursing means so much to me and I do not want to be finished. It was not my plan to be finished this soon, but I recognize l Lord, that it is your plan, not mine, that leads my way. I do not desire to end this activity of my baby's life, but I know that if you should have it be over for us, I trust that it is what is best. Seldom do I ask for something to be your will, but this I ask of you. Should you not grant it to me, I will know you have other plans in store for us, even if I do not know or understand them.

Thank you for allowing me this special time with my sweet baby. I pray it is your plan to continue, but will not question you if it is not. My heart breaks for this lord, and I give it to you- my healer, my redeemer, my King- to hold in your hands and lift the burden from my heart and mind. I put my trust in you.
Amen.

Yummy!!!

Short stack is very into sharing right now. I can ask him to share his drink with Little man and he gladly offers it up. It is so fun to see how much he understands, and is now able to obey. If he has a cookie or snack he will insist on sharing it with me until it is gone. Ill treasure his generosity before toddlerhood hits and it doesn't come so easy!!!

Mama got the bug! So here is a picture from last weekend. I am ds thankful for my best friend for life!

Big boys

My boys are growing up so sweet. Little man is all about pretend and making his toys and stuffed animals talk and interact with each other. He is a very sweet keeper of his "Monkey" too. He asked us to find a hat for monkey, then gloves and socks, just like him. He told us that monkey needed to get dresses so he could go see his 10 monkey friends. After we fashioned the necessary gear for monkey, little man's response was, "he yuvs it!" ("loves"- he pronounces his L's as Y's- gyuvs = gloves, byoo = blue etc. too cute!)

And short stack is getting to be such a big personality! He is exploring more (around the house, outside he is glued to me <3) and he will start a game of peek-a-boo or up down all on his own. He points to things he wants and wants to do anything we do- point the remote at the tv, open and close a water bottle, pet miss Maggie.

I am so thankful for their sweet little spirits and big hearts. I am just doing everything I can to soak up every single moment.

Snuggle bugs

This could be my favorite Super Bowl yet (except for Short stack projectile puking on me). Snuggied up on the couch with our babies. I'm so glad to be home with my guys.

Round 2!

After last night I decided to call it quits after dinner... The bar was smelly and the dancing was making my tummy feel yucky :( I am certainly looking forward to a nice night's sleep and getting to hug my babies and husband tomorrow.

We closed down the bar and then some... And man did we feel it today! Although we are definitely not 21 anymore, the boys (and I say boys because they were sooooooo young!) at the bar said we looked 20, and couldn't believe we had kids. It's always nice to hear that!
